Can these 4 simple words really make a difference?
“Hey, R U OK” is a short film that follows the lives of 2 busy medical doctors who experience the unexpected passing of a patient. As the storyline unfolds, we are reminded about the importance of taking the time to look out for our colleagues, following up with them and that it only takes little acts of kindness to make a big difference.
This film was made possible with the kind support of medical students and staff at Notre Dame University Australia, Fremantle campus and was produced in collaboration with Doctors Health in Queensland (DHQ), Ellen Health and Moore and Moore café.
“Hey, R U OK” was originally produced for medical doctors within Queensland Health in 2020 and was later screened at the 2021 British Medical Association (BMA) International Conference on Physician Health.
